In a society that prides itself on believing that all people are created equal, what some may consider “ageism” is a common practice. Denying healthcare to those that have lived out a natural life span may be the only way to sustain our healthcare system as our population continues to age. However, is this ageism morally and ethically wrong or purely a way to help us give the best care to those that need and deserve it most?
